The beautiful carnation surrounded by leaves featured on this mat is inspired by an Arts and Crafts wallpaper held in the V&A’s archives. Compton was designed in 1895–6 for Compton Hall in Wolverhampton, England, the home of Laurence Hodson, and it was probably the result of a joint effort between William Morris (1834–96) and his assistant J.H. Dearle (1859–1932). Every Entryways mat is designed and crafted to be stylish and functional. Made from the best quality all-natural coir to meet the industry's highest standards of durability, Entryways doormats are hand-stenciled with eco-friendly dyes for long-lasting vibrancy. 100% natural coir with backing and constructed to the highest industry standards Hand-painted with eco-friendly dyes; multiple stencils are used to recreate stunning artwork
