A rare and striking early work by renowned American printmaker Sabra Field, Aspiration captures the artist’s signature balance of bold form and meditative abstraction. Rendered in deep ultramarine and crisp white, this modernist botanical motif reflects Field’s evolving aesthetic during the 1960s.
This original linocut print is hand-signed “Sabra Johnson”, the name Field used during her marriage to Barclay Johnson (1961–1970). Early works signed under this name are highly collectible and mark an important period in her artistic development.
Professionally matted and housed in a vintage bamboo-style gold frame, the piece blends timeless design with quiet graphic drama—equally at home in both modern and traditional interiors.

For example, a large item, such as a sofa, cannot ship in the same manner as a smaller item, such as a pillow. The sofa will ship via a trusted freight carrier, and the pillow will ship via UPS. Please allow 3-5 business days for item picking and packing, as we pack and ship every other day Monday-Friday.
We determine shipping methods on a case-by-case basis and will let you know the best method at the time of your order.
