Vintage German-Style Felt Santa Figure
Old-world German-style Santa figures with hand-painted composition faces, cotton-batting beards and red felt coats trimmed in wool chenille, each standing on a mica-dusted snow base. Two figures, sold individually:
Santa with Sack — the taller of the two, with a burlap toy sack slung over his shoulder, a rope belt, a silver foil parcel at his waist and painted black boots.
Santa with Feather Tree — a rounder figure in blue felt trousers, holding a straw feather tree with a tin star and a tiny paper flower.
Each one earns a place on a mantel, in a Christmas vignette or under a cloche. Condition consistent with age: light wear to felt, beards and bases.
